The best bit is it is free to use. The only negative is that parking can be pricey if you just staying for an hour, rather use the ticket and stay as long as you can.

Long time favorite with upgraded facilities. Bbq area with covered tables or grassy area to picnic, great playground and native animal enclosures and pond with ducks and turtles. Parking cost a bit steep

Pretty much a free zoo (parking 12 bucks a day). Kids playground. Heaps of space for gatherings. Peacocks! Native animals too of course.

Had fantastic time walking around although the refurbishment to the place hampered the trail we intended to do. But love the mini zoo too.

This is a great place to bring family and friends. You can picnic or use one of the many barbeque stations provided.
