    How on earth can you believe their promises of quality product and great additional warranties when they cant even get the sale and delivery right. Go to Harvey Norman or Domayne is my recommendation!!

    It seems the Nick Scali delivery guys advised that "due to OHS they will not move existing furniture". Additionally all the packaging that the couches came wrapped in were refused to be taken with the delivery guys again contrary to what we told during the sale.

    KOTARA STAFF AWESOME - DISGUSTED IN NICK SCALI CUSTOMER SERVICE HEAD OFFICE. PURCHASED TWO ITEMS FROM YOUR KOTARA STORE - A BEAUTIFUL CONCRETE DINING TABLE ORDER#MN53208 & A SWIVEL CHAIR LOUNGE ORDER #MN53207. THE TABLE WAS DELIVERED AFTER PAYING $120.00 DELIVERY FEE. UPON INSPECTION, WE FOUND 'CONCRETE' FINISH CHIPPING OFF. THEN FOUND WITH A SIMPLE FEEL WITH A FINGERNAIL, CONFIRMED THE ENTIRE FINISH PEELING OFF. THE CONCRETE TABLE HAD BEEN PAINTED! THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE PURCHASED. WE PURCHASED A CONCRETE TABLE FOR A FAMILY OF FIVE. NOT A PAINTED TABLE THAT HAS A PEELING OFF FINISH. WE CONTACTED THE STORE, & HEAD OFFICE. A SENIOR STAFF MEMBER ATTENDED OUR HOME FOR A PHYSICAL INSPECTION, IT WAS HERE WE WERE ADVISED THE TABLES ARE NOW ALL PAINTED PRIOR TO DELIVERY. WELL, THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE WANTED, OR WHAT WE PURCHASED. WE PURCHASED A CONCRETE FINISH TABLE. NOT A CONCRETE TABLE WITH A PAINTED FINISH. IT IS NOT THE CONSUMERS FAULT THE MANUFACTURER DECIDES TO TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO ALTER ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ALTERED IN STORE, THEREFORE, THE CONSUMER RECEIVING GOODS NOT THE SAME AS ITEMS INSTORE.

    I was told to expect a call the Friday evening before hand to give a time - no call!! At 9.30am having kept my entire day empty I called Nick Scali Kotara to be told yes - I would get a call back with my time of delivery. I received a call back to advise that i would not be receiving my delivery at all that day as the trucks were too full in the Sydney warehouse and mine was not loaded!! Needless to say I was already unhappy with Nick Scali's poor level of communication. It was simply assumed that I could put aside another day to wait for a delivery. After a few phonecalls and me having to make alternate (significantly inconvenient) personal re-arrangements, the delivery fee was waived, but I still would not get delivery of the couches until Tuesday 21st - but yes they would be able to assist with the old furniture.

    I purchased a leather couch $3690 + additional warranty $195 + delivery $75. During the sale, it was arranged that we would have delivery the next saturday. I confirmed that upon delivery we could have assistance moving old couch furniture from living room to garage. We were assured that this would be no problem - not even asking if it was heavy furniture or multi-story - which it is not!

    WE EXPECT A RESOLUTION TO OUR CONCERN. LETS NOT FORGET NICK SCALI ALSO ADVISED US ON THE DAY OF INSPECTION, THEY ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS, AS THE FINISH IS DIFFERENT TO THAT ON DISPLAY IN THE SHOWROOM & WHAT WAS PURCHASED. CONSUMER LAW STATES IF A PRODUCT HAS A PROBLEM THAT WOULD HAVE PREVENTED PURCHASE IF KNOWN ABOUT, IF IT DOESNT DO WHAT THE BUSINESS SAID IT WOULD (NOT BE PAINTED OR PEELING IN THIS INSTANCE), IS SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT FROM THE SAMPLE OR DESCRIPTION (ie: THE SHOWROOM TABLE WAS NOT THE SAME COLOUR OR PAINTED) OR WHAT WAS ASKED FOR CANNOT BE EASILY FIXED (NOT EASILY FIXED, AS THE SURFACE OF THIS TABLE IS PAINTED).IT IS NOT US WHO HAVE DONE THE WRONG THING, IT IS NICK SCALI HEAD OFFICE ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS TO ONLY THEN DELIVER SOMETHING NOT PURCHASED BY THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE

    WE REQUEST FOR THE $120.00 DELIVERY FEE TO BE REFUNDED TO US, OR TAKE THIS AMOUNT FROM OUR EXISTING ORDER, STILL AWAITING DELIVERY. IT IS DEEMED UNFAIR TO THINK YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD PAY $120.00 FOR SOMETHING THEY NEVER PURCHASED IN THE FIRSTPLACE. WE WERE SOLD A PRODUCT THAT DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS, AND IS UNSATISFACTORY TO OUR REQUIREMENTS.
